Happy Chinese Dragon Head Raising Festival!
Today is March 10, 2016 on the Gregorian calendar, but in China today is Dragon Heads-Raising Day.
Unlike European dragons -which are considered evil- Chinese dragons are friendly and highly esteemed for their dignity and power for good.
On this day the most popular and auspicious activity is to go for a haircut. This is a day when salons and barbershops are prosperous and full of customers. The reason? It's considered bad luck to cut hair during the first lunar month.
There's much more to this holiday, so click this link to YourChineseAstrology.com today.
