Welcome to the mausoleum of Genghis Khan. (成吉思汗陵) The temple complex is located along a river in Ordos, a prefecture-level city in Inner Mongolia. The worship of Genghis Khan worship is popular among Mongolians.
Genghis Khan's mausoleum contains no body. The actual burial place of Genghis Khan has never been discovered. This mausoleum was built between 1954 and 1956 by the Chinese government in traditional Mongol style.
