Chinese New Year of the Rooster Events and Celebrations

One of the world's biggest celebrations is underway as we mark Chinese New Year and the start of the Year of the Rooster.

Hundreds of millions of people have been on the move by car, rail or by air to reunite with loved ones near and far.

Also known as the Spring Festival, celebrations large and small are being held all over the world.

I've established this page with a listing of just some of the events and celebrations happening in the local listening area of 1490 WGCH and anywhere by streaming audio at WGCH.com.

These will be featured on the weekly broadcast starting Saturday, January 28. Be sure to tune in to Marvels of China: Pathways to the Pacific Rim for more news of Chinese New Year events and celebrations.

If you are a non-profit organization and you want your event publicized on-the-air and on social media please contact me at MarvelsofChina@gmail.com
