Coming Up Next: Ms. Stephanie Liu of the Chinese Consulate General's Cultural Office Joins Us

Join me this coming Saturday, October 21 as I welcome Ms. Stephanie Liu to the Conversations segment of the Marvels of China: Pathways to the Pacific Rim show. She just joined the staff of the Chinese Consulate General's Office in New York City as the Vice-Consul of Cultural Affairs.

We'll be discussing the latest experiences on the China-US Cultural Forum. From Ms. Liu I learned that China has a vibrant, dazzling modern cultural scene in the areas of the performing arts, music and so much more.

Starting in November the content of our future broadcasts will include more from and about China's contemporary culture. China has one foot in its past and one in its future, progressing forward at breakneck speed.

You can certainly count on hearing our usual segments, such as the Weekly Almanac, Confucius Moment, Treasures of China and so on.

Be sure to tune-in this coming Saturday morning, October 21 at 10:30 a.m. Eastern USA Time/ 10:30 p.m. Beijing Time. You can hear the broadcast live via streaming audio on WGCH.com, too.
