The other day I enjoyed the privilege of meeting and interviewing one of China's renowned photographers, Hei Ming.
Some use colour, light and the composition in their images to create an abstract world, sometimes as intangible as fantasy.
Hei Ming is one of those intrepid photographers who documents society around them and the real lives they see.
We met in midtown Manhattan at Chef Yu on 8th Avenue. Translation was provided by Liming Guan of The China Press.
