We lived in Cos Cob for four years (1962 to 1966) and then in Old Greenwich for a year before Dad's transfer to Houston. Leslie attended Central Junior High (1962-64) and Greenwich High (1964 - 1967), and siblings, Kristen, Laurence and Keith attended Cos Cob Elementary during that time. Whenever we studied China in social studies class, we would offer to show Dad's slides of his days in China. Thank goodness we didn't lose or damage any. Dad was very generous to let us borrow them to take to school, along with the Kodak carousel projector! Hearing about Dad's experiences in China was a highlight of our family life, along with going to local Chinese restaurants on special occasions.
